Founder
Mariana Pietersz, founder of Éclorai, was born and raised in Curaçao and has spent over a decade working in the fashion industry as a professional model.
Through international shows and creative projects, she experienced the power of fashion as a tool for identity and confidence — how it can shape the way a woman carries herself and shows up in the world. At the same time, she became aware of the industry’s fast pace and constant pressure to keep moving, producing, and performing.
After years of pushing forward, that pace eventually led to burnout — a moment that forced her to slow down and re-evaluate not just her work, but her way of living.
That shift became the foundation of Éclorai.
With a background in business and first-hand industry experience, Mariana created Éclorai as an alternative: a brand that honours femininity without urgency and ambition without burnout.
